Pool areas are tough to landscape. You want something that looks sharp, but you also don't want leaves and mulch blowing into the water every time the wind picks up. That's exactly the problem we solved here - and the result speaks for itself.

We used a two-tone rock approach to build out the planting beds. Dark lava rock anchors the plants in the inner bed, while a warm golden gravel wraps around the outside edge. The contrast is clean and intentional. It gives the space a finished, resort-style feel without looking overdone.

The plantings tie everything together. Bold red ti plants are spaced evenly along the bed, giving the area color and texture that holds up without a ton of upkeep. No grass to mow, no mulch to replace every season - just a low-maintenance setup that stays looking good. The crisp black bed edging keeps everything in its place and makes the whole layout look precise.

This same rock install approach carried through to the front of the property too. Matching golden gravel with dark rock in the center beds, all bordered by fresh pavers. It's the kind of consistency that makes a property feel like it was actually designed - not just pieced together over time.

Rock installation done right isn't just about aesthetics. It's about building something that works with the property long-term. Less weeding, less replacing, less messing around. That's the whole point.
