Here's what a full property overhaul looks like from start to finish. The before shots tell the whole story - sparse plantings, patchy ground cover out front, and a side bed that had nothing pulling it together. Good bones on the house, but the yard wasn't keeping up.
We came in and tackled the whole property. Out front, we installed fresh sod to get that clean, green lawn base, then planted a mix of tropical plants and crotons around the center island bed. The contrast between the dark mulch and white decorative rock gives the whole front a sharp, finished look that actually complements the house instead of competing with it. The layering - low groundcover plants at the edges, colorful mid-height crotons, and the palm anchoring the center - is intentional. It adds depth without looking overdone.
Along the side of the house, we pulled out what wasn't working and put in a clean row of shrubs set in white rock. Simple, low-maintenance, and way better than bare dirt or overgrown plants pushed up against the foundation. That kind of detail is easy to overlook, but it makes a real difference when you see the whole property together.
The back got fresh rock around the pool area to clean up the perimeter and tie everything in. When you do the front, the sides, and the back all at once, nothing feels disconnected. That's what a real property upgrade looks like - not just one focal point, but every angle of the home looking intentional.
Beyond the curb appeal, there's a practical side to this too. Rock installation and the right plant selection cut down on ongoing maintenance. Less weeding, less frequent replacement, and less water stress on plants that aren't suited for the space. That's what good property maintenance looks like - it works for you long after we're done.
