The before here tells the story pretty clearly. Worn-out mulch, no real focal point, and a bed that had seen better days. It's the kind of thing you stop noticing after a while - until you see what it looks like when it's done right.

We pulled out the old material and started fresh. New palms went in to add some height and movement, ixora brought in a pop of color, and Caribbean beach pebbles replaced the mulch entirely. The pebbles are a big deal for Florida yards - they don't break down, they don't float off in heavy rain, and they keep the bed looking clean without constant upkeep.

The bed shape matters too. We cut a smooth, flowing edge that follows the natural line of the yard and ties right into the paver driveway. That kind of detail is what separates a bed that looks intentional from one that just looks like plants dropped in the ground.

What you end up with is a front yard that genuinely stands out. The white pebbles contrast well against the dark edging and the deep greens and reds of the plants. It reads as clean and polished without being overdone. Low maintenance, high impact - exactly what most homeowners are looking for.
